5 Piece Placesetting consisting of Dinner knife, Soup spoon, Dinner fork, Salad fork and teaspoonSatin-finish handles distinguish Yamazaki's Mandolin Ice flatware from the brightly polished Mandolin. Otherwise, both patterns are identical: substantial in weight and size and crafted into a clean, contemporary look. Each well-balanced piece of Mandolin Ice features a mirror-finish business end and neck; the frosty satin finish begins at the shoulder where the handle tapers into a broad rounded tab. Made of heavy-gauge, hot-forged 18/8 stainless steel, this 5-piece set includes the following: 9-1/4-inch dinner knife, 8-1/8-inch dinner fork, 7-1/4-inch salad fork, 7-3/4-inch soup spoon, and 6-1/2-inch teaspoon.
Solid feeling Mandolin Ice is absolutely smooth along the edges. The one-piece, hollow-handled knife features a blade made of high-carbon cutlery steel that maintains its finely-honed edge even after repeated use. While Yamazaki stainless-steel flatware is dishwasher approved, the company recommends removing the flatware after the wash cycle and drying by hand to prevent spotting.
